I spent most of the weekend unpacking and sorting boxes that have been stored at my grandmothers since I left six years ago.  Most of the boxes were kitchen items, dinnerware, glasses, vases, decanters…all the sweet things I have collected over the years at from second hand stores and markets, plus a few lovely things handed down.  It was nice to see some old favourites and even nicer to see nothing was broken. (except for the box I dropped!)  Now they have all been sorted, items not wanted given away, lovelies to keep packed up again ready for their home sweet HOME.

Lovin these photos of two of the best bloggers out there in the ‘fashion’ realm.  Can’t wait to see what project they have been working on together.  Sandra (on the right) has ‘those’ Acne shoes on that are very lustworthy, not to mention the old fur collar which I am a big fan of.  They are on different sides of the fashion fence but both always look amazing.  LOVE it.

aaahhh it’s all over for another year.  For those not familiar with this Australian tradition, on Australia Day (January 26) we like to get together and listen to Triple J, countdown the hottest 100 songs of the past year. Triple J is the radio station you grew up on if you were more into the ‘indie’ side of things, and every year we get a chance to vote for our favourite songs. 

So…drumroll…the number one song in Australia for 2010?   Big Jet Plane by Angus & Julia Stone.  aaahhh we heart the stones and their sweet songs!
